Redbrick & Co works on conversions and new houses across Greater Manchester and the north-west. A good deal of our work involves older industrial buildings — mills, warehouses, workshops — being turned into homes, which brings listed building consent, structural repair and a fair amount of negotiation with the local authority. We also design new houses, usually on difficult sites that others have passed over. Our approach is to keep the original structure legible and let new work read as new. Projects tend to be long, and we prefer clients who are interested in the process rather than only the finished photographs.
