Oakwright Studio is a design practice in Brentwood working mainly on 1930s and post-war suburban houses. Loft conversions, rear extensions and ground floor reconfiguration make up most of what we do. These houses are often better than people expect once the plan is sorted out, and we spend our time on the sequence of rooms rather than adding as much floor area as possible. We produce planning drawings, building regulations packages and construction details, and we are comfortable coordinating with structural engineers on removals and steelwork. Fees are agreed as fixed stages so clients know what they are committing to.
