Beckside Architects is based in Leeds and works on houses across Yorkshire, taking on projects further afield when a client and a site make it worthwhile. Our work covers extensions, renovations, loft conversions and new houses, often in stone and often in villages where planning is watchful. We like buildings that sit properly in their landscape and do not shout about it. Practically, that means paying attention to roof form, window proportion and how a building meets the ground. We run projects from first survey through to completion, and we are comfortable working remotely with regular site visits when a project is some distance from the office.
